 Carl Williams
Founder / Principal Designer Carl Williams is the creative, inspired founder of Carl Williams Interiors. With a Master of Arts Degree in Interior Design, Carl has over 35 years of design experience and has had the pleasure of designing for three generations of clients. He has earned respect and recognition among clients and within the design community through talent, honesty and an easy going nature. As a past winner of the Seattle Design Center Marjorie Siegal Award and Residential Designer of the Year, Carl was also the designer of
Seattle Homes & Lifestyles Home of the Year in 2003. He has also had the privilege of being an
honored judge and panelist for both the Seattle Design Center and DCI Marketing. His reputation is based on personalized service, attention to detail and the ability to bring special and unique design solutions to each client, while establishing a true sense of fun.
Carl’s first objective is to develop a rapport with his clients. Listening to their wants and needs, he skillfully guides them toward solutions to ensure their distinct personality and lifestyle is expressed in every room. Carl’s creative talent and the personality of the client merge to create an environment that is highly functional, visually striking and personally inspiring. He is involved in every step of the process through conception, selections, installations, and ongoing project maintenance. Coordinating and overseeing complex projects provides the perfect collaboration between homeowners, architects and contractors. Each project reflects a polished, beautifully crafted design achieved through thorough planning and detailed execution.

 Michelle Olander
Designer/Business Operations
With more than 20 years in the furniture and design industry, Michelle’s easy nature and sense of style is expressed in clean, contemporary lines. Whether designing custom pieces for clients, selecting art and accessories, developing concepts for the furniture line, or keeping projects on track, her operational and customer-focused excellence provides the experience welcomed by the large volume of repeat and second/third generation clients. Michelle holds a B.A. in Interior Design from Western Washington University.

 Heidi Taft
Designer/Organizer/ Marketing
Born in Europe, raised in Montana, and educated in Europe and Malibu, California, Heidi brings a European- influenced casual beach style to the firm. With a background in design, as well as corporate marketing and management, our newest team member leads our organization service offering, in addition to providing design services, creating pieces for the private furniture line, and selection of antiques. Heidi holds a B.A. in Advertising and Fine Arts from Pepperdine University and is an Accredited Staging Professional.

Accounting
Since the summer of 1992, Patti has managed accounting for Carl Williams Interiors, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for our vendors and clients. What she appreciates most about Carl is his integrity and the individual care he gives each client. She can truly say it has been a pleasure to have been associated with Carl Williams Interiors for all these years.

 Jim Allsopp
Strategic Planning / Business Development
Moving concepts and strategy into action, Jim brings more than 25 years of experience in Strategic Planning and Business Development to the Carl Williams Interiors team. Capitalizing on the creative and innovative energy of the design team, Jim offers guidance in the areas of technology, strategic alliance, finance and business expansion. Jim holds a BAc in Accounting, a BBA in Finance, an MBA in International Finance, as well as certifications in Lean Sigma and Project Management.
